Smith, a Pinehurst resident who's taken it upon herself to help you organize a nearby, said folks are upset about everything has happened, especially since the end of February if the trees were lessen.

"This was our forever home, and after this our forever property is looking pretty trashy," Smith said.

But as 2009, she and her husband, an avid golfer, are saddened their neighborhood has become adversely affected, and angry that particular company didn't protect those who live there.

"To drive by and find out that they have trashed that whole area is really depressing," Bourne said.

The Atascocita The game and Country Club was built-in 1956 and over time has grown to incorporate more than 450 lots surrounding the golf course, and over 1,600 homes in the Pinehurst community.

In '09, Pinehurst Trail Holdings LLC, purchased the course and country club, allegedly with the expectation of Taylormade Burner 2.0 irons revitalizing the 50 yr old facility.

However, this allegedly didn't create the needed capital, so Joe Stunja and John Hammond, who from the Pinehurst Trails Holdings LLC, often referred to as PTH, opted to market off portions of the course, in what attorney Kim Spurlock known as a parceling plan.

Spurlock, who represents the residents who filed your initial lawsuit against PTH this year, said the parcels of land may be designated for commercial use if sold.

"Some of this land is restricted to greens don't use anything but, plus some of it just isn't," Spurlock said.

The group, which is expected to come back in the courtroom at the conclusion of March, desires for a ruling making all the land exclusive for course don't use anything but.

As if the judge case has not been enough for concern, PTH began cutting down trees along the greens.

Residents said they might begin to see the have to reduce some trees which died during last year's record drought, but PTH also cut down healthy trees, hauled off of the healthy trees, but left the brush and massive piles of dead trees behind.

These individuals bought this property hoping this amenity (the the game) would enhance their discount golf clubs property value rather than drag it down."

Ed Miller, that has lived inside the neighborhood since 1980, has seen the area differ from a neighborhood that have a country club with dining, swimming, tennis and 27 holes of golf, for the club house and also other amenities leased over to the very best bidder, along with the former the game planned to be parceled out for commercial development.
