"Waved the putter at it 33 times. Not adequate for your monthly ping rapture v2 irons medal with form like that.

"Have now given Billy (caddie Billy Foster) approval to slap me (within reason!) only don't run the ball on the hole with pace over the next three weeks!"

Leading overnight, Westwood discount golf clubs made the right begin in Sunday's final round at the Emirates Club, sinking a 40-foot putt for eagle from less than saving money at the second hole that gave him a two-stroke cushion at the pinnacle.

But a bogey in the fifth followed anf the husband could only manage another birdie for the remainder of his round since the putts refused to lower.

It wasn't enough to keep off Cabrera-Bello, who acquired four birdies of their own on the back nine, together with a crucial one at the 17th that gave him callaway ft-iz driver charge and, ultimately, the winner's trophy.

One consolation for Westwood is his second place finish took him look out onto second invest the planet rankings, in front of rival Rory McIlroy, who only the week before had absorbed that position.
